Connettore coassiale Hama 00205225 tipo F 1 pezzo

The Hama 00205225 F-type coaxial connector is a single-piece F-to-F adapter designed to join two coaxial cables with F-type terminations. Constructed with a silver finish, the connector provides a compact joiner for audio and video signal paths, enabling a direct connection between devices such as set-top boxes, TVs, satellite receivers and cable outlets. Its straightforward design facilitates quick installation and helps maintain signal continuity in home theater and RF distribution setups.

Advantages

This F-type coaxial connector offers a simple, space-saving solution for extending or repairing coaxial cable runs without the need to re-terminate cable ends. The single-piece construction reduces insertion points and potential signal loss, while the threaded F-type interfaces ensure a stable mechanical and electrical connection. The silver-coloured finish provides corrosion resistance and a neutral appearance for visible installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting two coaxial cables with F-type connectors
• Extending existing coaxial cable runs in residential AV systems
• Joining cables between satellite, cable TV and set-top box equipment
• Temporary or permanent repairs of damaged coaxial cable connectors

Key specifications

• Connector type: F-to-F (female to female)
• Construction: single-piece coaxial adapter
• Finish / colour: silver
• Signal type: RF, suitable for audio/video and TV signals
• Mechanical interface: threaded F-type coupling

How to use

Ensure both coaxial cable ends are fitted with standard F-type male connectors. Screw each male F connector onto the adapter’s threaded ends until hand-tight, avoiding excessive force. Once both cables are attached and the connections are secure, route the cable as needed and check signal quality on the connected equipment. For best results, position the connector away from sharp bends and sources of electrical interference.

Recommendations

Use the connector with properly terminated coaxial cables and avoid overtightening to prevent damage to connector threads. For long cable runs or critical installations, inspect connections for corrosion and consider using short F-type patch cables or a single continuous cable run to minimise connection points and potential signal degradation.
