Connettore coassiale tipo F Hama 00205208 2 pezzi 8 mm

The Hama 00205208 coaxial connector is an F-type to F-type adapter supplied as a pack of two. Each connector is designed for a coaxial cable with an 8 mm outer diameter and features a stainless steel finish for corrosion resistance and reliable mechanical contact. This adapter allows direct coupling between two F-type coaxial cables or between cable and device with F-type terminations, enabling signal continuation in audio, video and RF installations.

Advantages

These F-type connectors provide consistent electrical contact and a compact mechanical connection without the need for soldering. The stainless steel construction offers durability and resistance to oxidation, while the single-piece design simplifies installation and reduces the chance of signal loss at the joint. Supplied as a set of two, the pack is suitable for small repair jobs or multiple connection points.

Suitable for

• Extending or joining coaxial F-type cables in home TV and satellite systems
• Connecting coaxial leads to set-top boxes, modems and RF splitters
• Temporary or permanent repairs of F-type terminated cables

Key specifications

• Connector type: F to F
• Quantity in pack: 2 pieces
• Compatible cable outer diameter: 8 mm
• Material / finish: stainless steel
• Application: coaxial signal transmission for audio, video and RF

How to use

Remove the outer jacket and prepare the coaxial cable end so the central conductor and the braided shield are exposed according to standard F-type termination practice for an 8 mm cable. Insert each prepared cable end into the connector and tighten securely by hand or with an appropriate tool until a firm mechanical and electrical contact is achieved. Verify the connection visually and by testing signal continuity or device operation after installation.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, ensure cables are stripped to the correct length for 8 mm outer diameter and that the central conductor is straight and centered. Avoid over-tightening which can deform the connector or cable; use a torque-limited tool if precise force is required. Use the connectors indoors or in weather-protected locations unless additional sealing or weatherproofing measures are applied.
