Connettore coassiale tipo F ShiverPeaks BS85004-A

The ShiverPeaks BS85004-A is a single F-type coaxial connector with a male pin and a 5.2 mm outer diameter designed for reliable RF signal transmissions. Offered as an individual connector, it is intended for use where a secure, standardized connection is required between coaxial cables and equipment such as TVs, set-top boxes, modems or antenna systems. The connector's design follows common F-type dimensions to ensure compatibility with typical threaded F-sockets and adapters.

Advantages

This F-type connector provides a stable mechanical connection and consistent electrical contact thanks to its precise 5.2 mm male interface. Supplied singly for flexibility in repairs or small installations, the connector is suitable for straightforward field or workshop use. Its standardized form factor reduces signal loss at the connection point and supports typical RF frequency ranges used in consumer applications.

Suitable for

• Connecting coaxial cables to televisions and set-top boxes
• Linking modems, routers or signal splitters to antenna or cable feeds
• Replacing a damaged F-type connector during repairs
• Small installation tasks requiring single connectors

Key specifications

• Connector type: F-type, male
• Outer diameter (male): 5.2 mm
• Quantity: sold individually
• Intended use: coaxial RF signal connections
• Compatibility: standard threaded F-sockets and adapters

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable by stripping the outer jacket, braid and dielectric to the dimensions appropriate for an F-type installation, exposing the center conductor. Slide the connector onto the prepared cable so the center conductor protrudes through the male pin and the braid makes contact with the connector body. Secure the connector per the connector variant (crimp, screw or push-on) using the recommended tools and torque for a reliable electrical and mechanical connection. Verify the connection by testing signal continuity and quality with appropriate equipment after installation.

Recommendations

Use the connector with cables and equipment rated for RF signals and ensure proper cable preparation and termination technique. Avoid over-tightening threaded connections and protect exposed connections from moisture or mechanical strain to maintain signal integrity.
