Connettore coassiale tipo F ShiverPeaks BS85006-AG

The ShiverPeaks BS85006-AG is a precision-engineered F-type male coaxial connector with a 6 mm outer diameter, designed to create stable RF connections for consumer and light commercial installations. Intended for single-unit sale, it offers straightforward mechanical coupling and electrical continuity for coaxial cable assemblies used in television, satellite and broadband signal distribution. The connector's metal construction supports reliable contact and mechanical strength while maintaining the compact form factor common to F-type fittings.

Advantages

This coaxial connector provides consistent impedance matching and a secure threaded connection to minimize signal loss and interference. Its 6 mm male interface is compatible with a wide range of coaxial cable preparations, enabling clean terminations with minimal tooling. The connector's build delivers durability against repeated make-and-break cycles and preserves signal integrity for RF, TV and satellite applications.

Suitable for

• Home TV and cable installations
• Satellite dish connections
• Set-top boxes and tuners
• Patch panels and short RF jumpers

Key specifications

• Connector type: F-type male
• Outer diameter: 6 mm male interface
• Material: metal body for mechanical strength and electrical conductivity
• Mounting: screw-on threaded connection
• Packaging: sold individually

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable by stripping the outer jacket, braid and dielectric to the dimensions recommended for F-type terminations. Insert the center conductor through the connector and engage the threaded body onto the mating female terminal, turning until hand-tight plus a small additional turn with a suitable tool if required. Verify that the connector is seated securely and that the center conductor is centered and not shorting to the braid. Test the assembled cable with the appropriate RF equipment to confirm signal continuity and quality.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the connector with cables and equipment rated for the intended frequency range. Avoid over-tightening to prevent damage to the connector or mating components, and consider using a torque wrench or calibrated tool for repeated installations. Inspect contacts periodically in outdoor or high-humidity environments to prevent corrosion and ensure long-term signal reliability.
