Connettore coassiale tipo F ShiverPeaks BS85009-R10

The ShiverPeaks BS85009-R10 F-type coaxial connector is a male connector designed for reliable signal transmission in audio and video installations. With a 6.7 mm outer diameter contact and a pack of 10 pieces, this connector set is intended for straightforward installation on compatible coaxial cables and provides mechanical stability and consistent electrical contact for domestic and professional use.

Advantages

These connectors offer robust mechanical construction and straightforward fitting, reducing installation time for assemblies and repairs. The metal contact and precise dimensions ensure stable impedance matching and minimal signal loss when mated with standard F-type female jacks. Supplied in a multi-pack, they are convenient for projects that require multiple terminations or spare parts.

Suitable for

• Termination of coaxial cables for TV and satellite receivers
• AV equipment connections in home entertainment systems
• Repairs and bulk installations in residential or small commercial setups

Key specifications

• Connector type: F-type male coaxial connector
• Contact outer diameter: 6.7 mm
• Pack quantity: 10 pieces
• Material: metal contact with conductive body (corrosion-resistant finish)
• Compatibility: standard coaxial cables used for RF, TV and satellite signals

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable by stripping the outer jacket, folding back the braid and trimming the dielectric to the appropriate length for F-type termination. Slide the connector onto the prepared cable end, ensuring the central conductor seats in the male pin and the body fits snugly over the cable braid. Tighten by hand or with a suitable compression/crimping tool if the connector design requires it. Verify the connection visually and test signal continuity and quality with appropriate equipment after installation.

Recommendations

Use connectors with cables of matching diameter and dielectric preparation to maintain impedance consistency. Avoid overtightening on threaded female jacks to prevent mechanical damage. For outdoor or exposed installations, use additional weatherproofing such as sealing tape or boots.
