Connettore coassiale tipo F ShiverPeaks BS85012-R

The ShiverPeaks BS85012-R is a high-quality F-type coaxial connector engineered for reliable signal transmission in home and professional AV installations. This single-piece connector features a male F-type interface with a 7.5 mm outer diameter, designed to mate with standard coaxial cables and devices. It is intended for use where stable RF connections are required, offering a compact and serviceable solution for cabling tasks.

Advantages

This F-type coaxial connector provides consistent electrical contact and low signal loss when properly installed. Its male design and 7.5 mm diameter ensure compatibility with common coaxial cable assemblies and consumer RF equipment. Supplied as a single unit, the connector is suitable for one-off repairs, upgrades, or new cable terminations, allowing targeted replacement without excess parts. The connector's construction supports durable mechanical and electrical performance under normal use.

Suitable for

• Connecting coaxial cables to set-top boxes, satellite receivers and TV tuners
• Repairing or terminating coaxial cable runs in residential or small commercial installations
• Replacing damaged male F-type fittings on existing cables or adapters

Key specifications

• Connector type: F-type, male
• Outer diameter: 7.5 mm
• Quantity: 1 piece per pack
• Application: RF/coaxial signal connections
• Compatibility: standard coaxial cable assemblies and F-type female ports

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable by stripping the outer jacket, braid and dielectric to the dimensions required for an F-type male termination. Slide the connector onto the cable end, ensuring the central conductor is correctly positioned through the male pin and the braid makes secure contact with the connector body. Tighten or crimp according to the connector design and the installation tools recommended by the cable manufacturer. After assembly, verify a secure mechanical fit and test the RF signal with appropriate equipment to confirm correct transmission.

Recommendations

Use the connector with compatible coaxial cable types and follow standard cable preparation procedures. Avoid over-tightening and ensure the central conductor is straight and free of shorts to maintain optimal signal quality. For installations requiring weather resistance, use appropriate sealing or weatherproof housings.
