Connettore coassiale tipo F Televes 401106

The Televes 401106 Coaxial Connector F-type is a compact coupling device designed to join two F-type coaxial cables in television, satellite and RF distribution systems. Built for compatibility with standard coaxial cables, the connector provides a direct mechanical and electrical link between cable ends to maintain signal continuity while minimizing insertion loss. Its metal construction offers mechanical stability and resistance to wear, ensuring consistent performance in both domestic and professional installations.

Advantages

This F-type connector provides low signal attenuation through secure threaded connections that reduce reflections and maintain impedance. The robust outer shell protects the internal contact and preserves contact pressure over time, resulting in long-term reliability. Its simple two-connector coupling design enables quick, tool-free assembly in many cases and compatibility with a wide range of F-type terminated coaxial cables and devices.

Suitable for

• Extending coaxial cable runs for TV or satellite receivers
• Joining two coaxial cables to reach wall outlets or distribution points
• Temporary or permanent connections in home entertainment systems
• Professional installations where standard F-type connectors are used

Key specifications

• Connector type: F-type to F-type coupling
• Application: Coaxial cable signal transmission for TV, satellite and RF
• Material: Metal housing with conductive internal contact for low-loss signal transfer
• Impedance: Designed for standard 75 ohm coaxial systems
• Durability: Corrosion-resistant finish for extended service life

How to use

To use the coaxial connector, align the male F-type plug of each cable with the coupling and screw each connector together until hand-tight. Ensure cables are terminated correctly with compatible F-type terminations and that the inner conductor is centered in the contact to avoid short circuits. For best electrical contact, avoid over-tightening; a firm hand-tight connection followed by a slight quarter-turn with an appropriate tool, if available, is sufficient.

Recommendations

Install the connector in dry, protected locations when possible to prevent moisture ingress. For outdoor or exposed installations, use additional weatherproofing such as self-amalgamating tape or an appropriate sealing boot. Periodically inspect threaded connections for corrosion and retighten as needed to maintain optimal signal quality.
