Connettore coassiale tipo F Televes FQ1

The Televes FQ1 is a high-quality F-type coaxial connector engineered for reliable signal transmission in telecommunications and broadcasting installations. Designed for use with standard coaxial cables, this connector provides a secure mechanical and electrical connection that minimizes signal loss and maintains impedance continuity. Its robust metallic construction resists wear from repeated installations and ensures long-term performance in indoor and sheltered outdoor environments.

Advantages

The connector offers a durable build that reduces the risk of deformation or contact failure over time. Its standardized F-type interface ensures compatibility with a wide range of tuners, set-top boxes, antennas and distribution equipment. The precise connector geometry helps preserve signal integrity across TV, satellite and data services while simplifying cable termination for technicians and installers.

Key specifications

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable by stripping the outer jacket, braid and dielectric to the recommended dimensions for an F-type termination. Slide the connector onto the prepared cable end and engage the threaded coupling with the mating jack, tightening by hand and finishing with a suitable tool if required to ensure a firm connection. Verify continuity and signal levels after installation to confirm correct termination and alignment with the receiving equipment.

Recommendations

For best results, use the Televes FQ1 with properly prepared RG‑6 or RG‑59 cables and ensure connectors are tightened without over-torquing to avoid damage. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct weather without additional sealing; use appropriate weatherproofing on external joints. Regularly inspect connections in distributed systems to maintain signal quality.
