Connettore F ShiverPeaks 85012-R 7,5 mm con guarnizione, ghiera grande

F-connector ShiverPeaks 85012-R 7.5 mm with Gasket, Large Nut is a coaxial cable connector designed for terminating 7.5 mm outer-diameter cables used in TV, satellite and cable installations. The connector provides a standard RF interface for male F-type sockets and includes an integrated gasket to improve sealing against moisture and dust. A larger nut diameter offers easier hand tightening and a more secure mechanical connection to equipment or adapters.

Advantages

The connector combines a precise 7.5 mm inner sleeve fit with a gasketed design to reduce ingress of water and contaminants at the connection point. The large nut improves torque transfer for reliable mechanical fastening and makes installation with hand tools or pliers more convenient. Constructed for consistent impedance matching, it supports stable RF signal transmission in domestic and professional audiovisual systems.

Suitable for

• Termination of 7.5 mm coaxial cables in residential TV and satellite installations
• Outdoor antenna and dish connections where weather sealing is needed
• Replacement or upgrade of existing F-type connectors on cable and set-top box leads

Key specifications

• Cable outer diameter compatibility: 7.5 mm
• Connector type: male F-type (coaxial RF)
• Sealing feature: integrated gasket for moisture and dust protection
• Mechanical fastening: enlarged nut for improved grip and torque application
• Intended use: TV, satellite and cable RF signal connections

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable by stripping sheath, braid and dielectric according to the 7.5 mm connector requirements so the centre conductor and outer conductor are exposed the correct lengths. Slide the connector body onto the prepared cable and ensure the gasket seats correctly at the cable entry. Secure the connector by tightening the large nut onto the mating F-type socket until a firm mechanical connection is achieved; use appropriate hand tools or pliers if additional torque is required, taking care not to deform the cable or connector.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, verify the cable dimensions before installation and inspect the gasket for intact condition. When used outdoors, apply additional sealing materials on the cable entry if long-term exposure to extreme weather is expected. Avoid excessive tightening that could damage the connector or cable conductor.
