Connettore in fibra ottica SC maschio Telegärtner L00889W0007

The Telegärtner SC Male fibre optic connector L00889W0007 is designed for OS2 single-mode networks and provides a secure interface for standard SC ports. The design incorporates gel-free FO pigtails with an easy-strip buffering that allows removal of up to one metre of coating at a time, enabling faster field termination and installation. Supplied individually and also available as part of a complete set, this connector delivers low insertion loss and high return loss for reliable telecommunications and data transmission connections.

Advantages

Gel-free construction simplifies preparation and reduces contamination risk during termination. The easy-strip buffering supports quick stripping of up to one metre of coating for fast field work. Compatibility with standard SC ports and OS2 fibre ensures broad interoperability, while the connector’s precision design helps maintain low insertion loss and high return loss.

Suitable for

• Single-mode OS2 fibre connections
• Telecommunications trunking and distribution
• Data centre fibre links
• Field termination and on-site installation tasks

Key specifications

• Brand: Telegärtner
• Model / MPN: L00889W0007
• EAN: 4018359360061
• Connector type: SC Male
• Fibre type: OS2 (single-mode)

How to use

Prepare the fibre by removing the outer jacket according to standard fibre handling procedures. Use the easy-strip buffering to remove up to one metre of coating as required for the termination method. Insert the prepared fibre into the SC Male connector following the connector manufacturer’s instructions and secure it according to the chosen assembly technique. Verify connection quality with appropriate test equipment to confirm acceptable insertion and return loss values.

Recommendations

Handle fibres with care and follow standard ESD and safety practices. Use appropriate cleaning tools for endfaces and avoid exposing the gel-free pigtail to contamination before termination. Perform post-installation testing to ensure network performance meets project requirements.
