Connettore in fibra ottica ShiverPeaks SC-SC simplex blu – modello 07-60050

ShiverPeaks SC-SC Simplex Blue model 07-60050 is a single-fiber simplex fiber optic connector designed for reliable SC-to-SC connections. The connector uses the standardized SC push-pull interface to provide a compact and repeatable optical link for patching, testing, or repair tasks. Its blue housing indicates a common fiber type or polarity in rack and panel installations and supports straightforward insertion and removal in fiber patch panels and network equipment.

Advantages

The SC-SC Simplex connector offers consistent mechanical alignment and low insertion loss through its precise ferrule and housing design. Its push-pull coupling allows quick mating and unmating without tools, which reduces handling time during maintenance or deployments. The blue color simplifies visual identification in multi-fiber environments and helps maintain organized cabling. The component is suitable for environments where standardized SC simplex interfaces are required.

Suitable for

• Telecommunications equipment and field terminations requiring SC simplex connections
• Data centers and network racks for single-fiber patching and reconfiguration
• Laboratory testing, measurement setups and optical troubleshooting
• Repair and replacement of SC simplex ports in networking hardware

Key specifications

• Connector type: SC simplex to SC simplex
• Fiber count: single-fiber simplex
• Housing color: blue for visual identification
• Coupling method: standardized push-pull SC interface
• Intended use: optical patching, testing, repair and network interconnects

How to use

Inspect the fiber endfaces and clean them with appropriate fiber cleaning tools before insertion to minimize contamination and insertion loss. Align the connector with the SC receptacle and press until the push-pull latch engages; confirm a secure click to ensure proper mating. For unmating, press the release mechanism and gently pull the connector straight out to avoid damaging the ferrule or cable. Follow standard fiber handling practices to prevent excessive bending, pulling force, or contamination during installation.

Recommendations

Use certified fiber cleaning wipes or cleaning tools before every connection cycle, store unused connectors with protective caps, and avoid tight bends near the connector interface to maintain optimal optical performance and longevity.
