Connettore maschio SMA a crimpare DELOCK 91780 per cavo coassiale RG-174 / RG-316 con guaina termorestringente

DELOCK SMA crimp plug 91780 is a compact SMA male connector designed for RG-174 and RG-316 coaxial cables. It features a crimp termination and includes a heat-shrink sleeve to provide mechanical strain relief and improved environmental protection for RF and antenna connections. The connector offers a reliable interface for signal transfer in repairs, custom cable assemblies and installations that require precise coaxial terminations.

Advantages

The connector provides a compact SMA male interface suitable for tight spaces and miniature assemblies. Crimp termination ensures consistent mechanical stability and repeatable electrical contact when applied with the appropriate crimp tool. The included heat-shrink sleeve adds insulation and strain relief, reducing the risk of short circuits and improving longevity in field or workshop environments. Designed for common thin coaxial cables, it supports straightforward cable preparation and termination.

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable by stripping the outer jacket, braid and dielectric to the dimensions appropriate for the connector. Slide the heat-shrink sleeve onto the cable before assembly. Insert the centre conductor into the pin and crimp the pin using the correct-size crimp tool. Fold the braid over the connector body, position the crimp ferrule and crimp the ferrule to secure the outer conductor. Slide the heat-shrink sleeve over the joint and apply heat to shrink it for additional insulation and strain relief. Verify electrical continuity and mechanical stability before placing the cable into service.

Recommendations

Use a calibrated crimp tool specified for the connector ferrule and centre pin to ensure reliable electrical performance. Follow standard RF assembly practices: maintain correct strip lengths, avoid nicking the centre conductor, and inspect crimps visually and with a continuity tester. Use the heat-shrink sleeve to protect the termination from moisture and mechanical wear in field installations.
