Connettore mono 3,5 mm ad angolo retto ShiverPeaks 51100-W - connettore audio mono 3,5 mm ad angolo retto

The ShiverPeaks Mono 3.5mm Right Angle Plug 51100-W is a compact 3.5 mm mono right-angle audio connector designed for mono signal connections in space-constrained installations. It provides a single-channel contact in a right-angle housing that reduces cable strain and enables tighter routing behind equipment, instrument amplifiers or patch panels. This connector is intended for line-level mono connections, repairs, adapter assemblies and custom cable leads where a slim, angled plug is required.

Advantages

The right-angle form factor minimises mechanical stress at the cable entry point and helps maintain secure connections in confined spaces. Its mono 3.5 mm contact offers a straightforward electrical path for single-channel audio signals. The compact housing simplifies installations behind low-clearance devices and allows for neater cable management compared with straight plugs.

Suitable for

• Patching and short patch leads in studio and live environments
• Instrument leads and adapters for mono sources
• Repairing or replacing worn 3.5 mm mono plugs on cables
• Custom cable assemblies where a right-angle mono plug is required

Key specifications

• Connector type: 3.5 mm mono (TS) right-angle plug
• Contact configuration: single-channel (mono)
• Orientation: right-angle housing for reduced strain
• Intended use: line-level mono audio connections, instrument and patch applications
• Form factor: compact housing for low-clearance installations

How to use

Prepare the cable by stripping the outer jacket and separating the signal conductor and any shielding according to the cable construction. Solder the signal conductor to the tip contact and, where applicable, attach the shield or return conductor to the sleeve contact following standard soldering practices for audio connectors. Assemble the housing over the soldered connections and secure any strain-relief features provided by the plug. Verify continuity and polarity before finalising the installation.

Recommendations

Use the plug in applications where space behind equipment is limited and where a mono 3.5 mm connection is required. Avoid excessive bending at the entry point and ensure proper strain relief to prolong connector life. Check solder joints and insulation to maintain reliable audio performance.
