Connettore per cavi DeLOCK 80795 DC 5,5 x 2,1 nero maschio/femmina

The Wire Connector DeLOCK 80795 DC 5.5 x 2.1 Black Male/Female is a compact inline power coupling designed to join two DC power leads with a 5.5 x 2.1 mm barrel interface. Constructed for basic power transmission tasks, the connector offers a simple male-to-female connection in a black housing. Its small footprint—24 mm wide, 30 mm deep and 11 mm high—makes it suitable for tight installations where a reliable, removable DC link is required. The product is supplied as a single unit in a protective polybag.

Advantages

The connector provides a secure, detachable connection between two DC cables using the common 5.5 x 2.1 mm barrel size, allowing quick assembly and disassembly without soldering. Its compact dimensions enable installation in constrained spaces and help minimize cable stress at the connection point. The black housing offers a discreet appearance while protecting the internal contacts from incidental contact and mechanical wear during normal use.

Suitable for

• Joining power leads for consumer electronics that use 5.5 x 2.1 mm DC barrel plugs
• Temporary or semi-permanent connections in test benches and prototypes
• Extending cable runs where a mid-line removable connector is needed
• Use in enclosures or behind equipment where space is limited

Key specifications

• Connector type: DC barrel coupling, male to female
• Barrel size: 5.5 x 2.1 mm
• Color: Black
• Dimensions (W x D x H): 24 mm x 30 mm x 11 mm
• Packaging: Single piece in polybag

How to use

Align the male and female barrel ends of the DC cables with the corresponding ends of the inline connector and insert until a tactile fit is achieved. Ensure polarity is correct before applying power. For removal, grip the connector housing rather than the cable to avoid stressing the conductors and gently pull the halves apart. The connector requires no tools for routine mating and unmating, but verify that connections are snug and fully seated before powering equipment.

Recommendations

Inspect connectors regularly for signs of wear or corrosion and avoid exposing the connector to water or excessive mechanical strain. Use the connector within the expected current and voltage limits of the connected devices and avoid twisting or bending cables sharply at the connector interface.
