Connettore per cavi ShiverPeaks BS51110-M2 3,5 mm acciaio inox femmina

The ShiverPeaks BS51110-M2 Wire Connector 3.5 mm Stainless Steel Female is a compact audio connector designed for establishing reliable low-voltage signal and audio connections. Made from stainless steel with a female 3.5 mm jack form factor, this two-piece pack provides a corrosion-resistant contact point suitable for repeated insertion and removal in consumer and light professional environments. The connector is intended for inline wiring where a durable female 3.5 mm connection is required.

Advantages

The stainless steel construction offers enhanced resistance to corrosion and physical wear compared with plated brass or plastic shells, helping maintain signal integrity over time. The female 3.5 mm format supports common audio plugs and small-signal lines, and the compact housing simplifies installation in confined spaces. Supplied as a set of two pieces, the pack provides spares or allows matching connections on both ends of a cable run.

Suitable for

• Connecting headphones, earbuds or auxiliary audio cables to custom-wired assemblies
• Repairing or replacing damaged in-line female 3.5 mm jacks on extension leads
• Prototyping or small-scale audio projects requiring a durable female connector
• Low-voltage signal connections in instrumentation and control panels

Key specifications

• Connector type: 3.5 mm female jack
• Material: stainless steel housing and shell
• Pack quantity: 2 pieces
• Gender: female
• Application: audio and low-voltage signal connections

How to use

Prepare the cable by stripping the outer insulation and tinned conductors as required for the connector’s solder or clamp termination method. Insert and secure the conductors according to the connector’s assembly instructions, ensuring correct wiring for tip, ring and sleeve when used with stereo signals. After assembly, test the connection with appropriate audio equipment to verify continuity and correct channel assignment. If necessary, apply a small amount of dielectric grease to external mating surfaces to reduce corrosion risk in humid environments.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the connector within typical audio cable current and voltage limits; avoid excessive mechanical stress on the cable-connector junction and protect the connector from prolonged exposure to salt spray or aggressive chemicals. Match the wiring polarity and shielding practices for noise-sensitive applications.
