Connettore per cavi ShiverPeaks BS51301-M 2,5 mm acciaio inox connettore maschio

The ShiverPeaks BS51301-M 2.5 mm Stainless steel Male wire connector is a compact connector intended for audio and low-voltage signal cabling. Constructed from stainless steel, the connector body provides corrosion resistance and mechanical durability for repeated mating cycles. The 2.5 mm male contact is suitable for compatible female sockets where a secure metal-to-metal connection is required for reliable signal transfer.

Advantages

The stainless steel construction offers enhanced longevity and resistance to environmental influences compared with plated or low-grade metal connectors. The compact 2.5 mm male design ensures compatibility with standard 2.5 mm female jacks used in audio, control, and low-voltage signal applications. The solid metal housing provides mechanical stability, helping to maintain contact integrity under vibration or frequent handling.

Suitable for

• Audio equipment connections using 2.5 mm jacks
• Low-voltage signal and control wiring
• Applications requiring corrosion-resistant connector bodies
• Environments with moderate mechanical stress or frequent connector use

Key specifications

• Connector type: 2.5 mm male wire connector
• Material: stainless steel body
• Colour: stainless steel finish
• Intended use: audio and low-voltage signal connections

How to use

Strip the cable to the appropriate conductor length following standard wiring practice for the mating connector. Insert or solder the conductor as required by the connector variant, then assemble the connector housing to secure the connection. Ensure the mating 2.5 mm female jack is clean and free of debris before insertion to maintain a reliable electrical contact. Verify continuity and mechanical fit after assembly.

Recommendations

For best long-term performance, avoid exposure to aggressive chemicals and prolonged immersion in water. Periodically inspect the connector for signs of wear or corrosion and replace if contact resistance increases. Use the connector with compatible 2.5 mm female sockets and observe proper cable strain relief to prevent mechanical damage.
