Connettore per cavi ShiverPeaks BS57020-M 2,5 mm 3,5 mm acciaio inox

The ShiverPeaks BS57020-M wire connector is a stainless steel male/female connector available in 2.5 mm and 3.5 mm sizes. Designed for audio and A/V cabling, it provides a durable metal housing that resists corrosion and mechanical wear. The connector is intended for establishing reliable electrical and signal contacts in compact installations where space and material longevity are important.

Advantages

The stainless steel construction ensures corrosion resistance and mechanical strength, supporting long service life in both indoor and moderate outdoor conditions. Having two common sizes, 2.5 mm and 3.5 mm, allows compatibility with a range of cables and equipment. The male/female configuration facilitates secure mating and straightforward replacement or reconfiguration of audio and signal lines.

Suitable for

• Connecting audio equipment and headphones with 2.5 mm or 3.5 mm wire terminations
• Repairing or extending A/V cables in consumer and professional setups
• Use in compact installations where stainless steel durability is required

Key specifications

• Material: stainless steel housing
• Available contact sizes: 2.5 mm and 3.5 mm
• Connection type: male and female mating interface
• Intended application: audio & video cabling and signal connections
• Finish: metallic stainless steel colour

How to use

Prepare cable ends by stripping insulation to the appropriate length for the connector contacts. Insert conductors into the mating contacts and secure according to the connector’s attachment method (solder, crimp, or screw as applicable). Ensure correct orientation between male and female parts before fully engaging to avoid damaging contact surfaces. Test continuity and signal quality after assembly to confirm a proper connection.

Recommendations

For best results, use connectors matched to the cable conductor diameter and intended signal levels. Avoid exposing stainless steel connectors to aggressive chemical environments for prolonged periods. Periodically inspect the mating surfaces for debris or corrosion and clean with a suitable electronics-grade cleaner if necessary.
