Connettore per cavo ShiverPeaks BS50800-2 6,3 mm acciaio inox

The ShiverPeaks BS50800-2 wire connector is a 6.3 mm female connector crafted from stainless steel and supplied in a pack of two. It is intended for creating reliable detachable connections in audio, video, and general electrical systems where a standardized 6.3 mm (often called 1/4" or 0.25") blade terminal interface is required. The stainless-steel construction provides corrosion resistance and mechanical strength for repeated mating cycles and use in environments where durability is important.

Advantages

Stainless-steel construction resists rust and maintains appearance over time while offering good mechanical durability. The 6.3 mm female contact provides a standardized fit for compatible male blades, enabling secure and removable connections. Supplied as a two-piece pack, the connector is convenient for small installations, repairs, or creating matched pairs for stereo or dual-channel applications.

Suitable for

• Audio equipment wiring and speaker leads
• Short-run signal and control connections in A/V systems
• Repair and replacement of damaged female blade terminals
• DIY electronics and prototyping requiring removable connections

Key specifications

• Contact type: female blade socket sized for 6.3 mm blades
• Material: stainless steel body and contact components
• Pack quantity: 2 pieces
• Colour: stainless steel finish
• Application: removable electrical and signal connections

How to use

Strip the conductor to the appropriate length, insert it into the connector according to the connector design (crimp, solder, or push-fit depending on variant), and ensure a firm mechanical and electrical connection. Slide the compatible 6.3 mm male blade into the female socket until it seats fully. Verify continuity and mechanical retention before placing the assembly into service. Follow standard safety practices: disconnect power before making or changing connections.

Recommendations

For reliable results, use the connector with matching 6.3 mm male blades and choose the correct termination method (crimping or soldering) suited to the conductor type. Inspect connections periodically in environments with moisture or vibration and replace connectors that show signs of wear or corrosion despite stainless-steel construction.
