Connettore RJ-45 ShiverPeaks BS08-51002 nero trasparente maschio

The ShiverPeaks BS08-51002 Black Transparent Male RJ-45 connector is a single-unit modular plug designed for creating reliable Ethernet terminations. The connector combines a black housing with transparent elements to allow visual inspection of conductor alignment and contact seating. It is intended for field assembly on stranded or solid network cable conductors where a standard 8P8C RJ-45 plug is required.

Advantages

This RJ-45 plug provides a compact and visually clear termination option that facilitates quick verification of wire order and proper insertion. The construction is compatible with common cable insulations and supports consistent electrical contact when crimped with appropriate tools. Supplied as a single piece, it is suitable for targeted repairs, one-off installations, or testing environments without excess packaging.

Suitable for

• Repairing damaged Ethernet cable ends
• Assembling short network patch leads
• Field terminations during network troubleshooting
• Small-scale installations and laboratory testing

Key specifications

• Form factor: 8P8C modular RJ-45 male plug
• Housing color: black with transparent contact window
• Contact type: gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity
• Cable compatibility: suitable for typical RJ-45 network cables (solid and stranded conductors)
• Pack quantity: single connector per package

How to use

Prepare the network cable by stripping the outer jacket to expose the individual conductors, taking care not to nick the wires. Arrange the conductors into the required wiring sequence, straighten them, and trim evenly. Insert the conductors fully into the plug until each contact is seated in its respective channel and the cable jacket reaches the plug’s strain relief. Use a compatible RJ-45 crimping tool to crimp the plug according to the tool manufacturer’s instructions, ensuring firm mechanical and electrical connection. After crimping, verify continuity and correct pinout with a cable tester.

Recommendations

Use a proper RJ-45 crimping tool and, when working with stranded cables, select plugs rated for stranded conductors to ensure reliable contact. Avoid excessive stripping of the jacket to maintain mechanical strain relief. Inspect the transparent section to confirm conductor alignment before crimping, and test the finished cable to verify signal continuity and correct pairing.
