Connettore XLR ShiverPeaks BS55000 con scarico di trazione, connettore per cavo audio a 3 poli

ShiverPeaks BS55000 is a 3-pin XLR audio cable connector with integrated strain relief designed for reliable microphone and professional audio cable terminations. The connector features a locking mechanism for secure mating, durable contacts for stable signal transmission and a reinforced cable entry that reduces mechanical stress at the solder or crimp points. It is intended for stage, studio, broadcast and live-sound setups where repeatable, robust XLR connections are required.

Advantages

The connector combines a compact metal housing with an internal strain relief to protect cable conductors and terminations from bending and pulling forces. Its three-pin contact layout ensures proper signal polarity and low-resistance connections. The locking latch prevents accidental disconnection during live operation, and the mechanical design facilitates straightforward assembly and maintenance without compromising contact stability.

Suitable for

• Microphone cable terminations
• Stage and live-sound installations
• Studio patching and permanent wiring
• Broadcast and location recording equipment

Key specifications

• Connector type: 3-pin female/male XLR style (balanced audio)
• Contact material: corrosion-resistant metal contacts for reliable conductivity
• Housing: metal shell providing shielding and mechanical protection
• Strain relief: integrated design to secure cable and reduce stress on terminations
• Locking: latch mechanism for secure mating under movement and vibration
• Cable compatibility: suitable for standard microphone and audio multicore cables (stranded conductors)

How to use

Prepare cable ends by stripping the outer jacket and separating the shield from the inner conductors according to the connector's assembly requirements. Terminate conductors to the connector contacts using solder or the recommended crimp method, ensuring correct polarity and solid mechanical connection. Position the integrated strain relief over the cable jacket and secure the housing screws to clamp the relief in place. After assembly, test continuity and polarity with a multimeter or cable tester before use in a live or studio environment.

Recommendations

For long-term reliability, avoid sharp bends immediately at the connector entry and route cables to minimize repeated flexing. Inspect contacts periodically for oxidation and clean with contact-safe cleaner if necessary. Use correct cable diameter ranges and secure connector housing screws to maintain strain relief effectiveness.
