Controller RAID HPE P47781-B21 PCI Express 4.0 SAS-3 SATA III 8 GB

The HPE P47781-B21 RAID controller is a PCIe Gen4 (PCI Express 4.0) storage controller compatible with SAS-3 and SATA III drives. Based on Broadcom MegaRAID technology, it supports multiple RAID levels (0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60) and provides an 8 GB cache to meet the needs of enterprise and data center environments that require reliable data protection and high throughput.

Advantages

The controller delivers high bandwidth and improved rebuild performance for RAID configurations, supports both RAID and HBA/pass-through modes for flexible deployment, and is engineered for mission-critical and virtualized workloads. It offers fast random write performance and reduced rebuild times compared with older generations, while maintaining compatibility with SAS-3 and SATA III storage devices.

Suitable for

• Enterprise servers and data centers requiring hardware RAID
• Virtualized environments using HBA / pass-through mode
• Applications demanding high random write IOPS and fast rebuilds
• Systems using SAS-3 or SATA III drives
