How to use

Connect the RJ-11 VDSL2 jack of the VC-231 to the existing telephone line and plug the RJ-45 Ethernet port into the local network device (router, switch or PC). Install the supplied POTS splitter at the telephone outlet to separate voice and VDSL2 signals if you need to preserve phone service. Set the device to CPE mode at the subscriber end and to CO mode at the central end using the built-in DIP switch; a CPE unit and a CO unit form a point-to-point link.

For best performance, use the VC-231 within the specified distance ranges: profile 30a (short reach) for maximum wire-speed symmetric rates up to 100/100 Mbps and profile 17a for long-distance connections.
