For cleaning, disconnect and detach the controller according to the manufacturer instructions and launder the blanket on a gentle cycle. Follow all safety instructions provided with the product, including avoiding folding or storing the blanket while it is still warm and not using it with infants, people who cannot operate the control, or under heavy bedding that may prevent heat dissipation.

Recommendations

Use moderate heat settings for extended periods to reduce energy consumption and minimize overheating risk. Inspect the blanket regularly for signs of wear, and store it rolled or folded loosely in a dry place when not in use. Do not use an electric blanket on adjustable bed mechanisms that could crease or damage the heating elements.
