Corda Mammut Virve 8.0 Alpine Core Protect Dry 70 m

The Mammut Virve 8.0 Alpine Core Protect Dry Rope is a high-performance dynamic rope designed for alpine, ice, and multi-pitch climbing. With a diameter of 8.0 mm, it serves as both a half rope and a twin rope, offering versatility and reliability in demanding conditions. The Core Protect Dry treatment ensures water repellency, extending the rope's lifespan and maintaining handling characteristics in wet environments.

Advantages

This rope combines low weight with exceptional durability. The 42% sheath proportion provides excellent abrasion resistance, while the dry treatment reduces water absorption and freezing. The high number of UIAA falls (18-20 as half rope, 20-22 as twin rope) ensures long-lasting safety performance.
