Frame 1-gang Busch-Jaeger Busch-balance SI in alpin white, model 1721-914 is a decorative single-gang cover designed to fit one switch or socket module. It is intended as an external frame for compatible Busch-Jaeger mechanisms and provides a consistent, low-profile finish for wall-mounted electrical fittings in residential and commercial interiors. The neutral alpin white colour blends with modern and classic décors and helps conceal installation edges while keeping access to the device unchanged.

Advantages

This single-gang frame offers precise fit and alignment with compatible Busch-Jaeger modules, ensuring a neat visual result without affecting device operation. The alpin white surface is resistant to everyday handling and easy to clean, maintaining a uniform appearance over time. The frame’s slim contours and balanced proportions support coordinated multi-room installations and simplify replacement of existing covers.

How to use

Turn off the relevant circuit at the breaker before removing any existing cover. Remove the existing frame or cover plate by unscrewing or unclipping it according to the installed mechanism. Position the Busch-Jaeger single-gang frame over the device so that the module aligns with the frame opening, then secure the frame using the original screws or clips supplied with the mechanism. Restore power and verify that the switch or socket operates normally and that the frame sits flush against the wall.

Recommendations

For best results, confirm compatibility with the installed Busch-Jaeger mechanism before purchase; use a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent to clean the alpin white surface and avoid abrasive cleaners that can dull the finish. When replacing covers in a complete room, check colour consistency under the same lighting to ensure uniform appearance.
