How to use

Prepare the mounting location ensuring a flat, stable surface and appropriate environmental clearance. Mount the enclosure using the recommended fixings through the provided mounting points, and install any required internal mounting plates, DIN-rails, or brackets before placing electrical components. Fit terminal blocks, control modules, or small switchgear inside the enclosure and route cables through suitable cable entries or gland plates. Ensure all seals and the door closure are correctly engaged to maintain IP66 protection before energizing the installed equipment.

Recommendations

To maintain IP66 performance, inspect door seals and cable gland fittings periodically and replace any damaged gaskets. Select lock hardware that matches the E-Box KX mounting provisions to preserve closure integrity. When installing outdoors, consider corrosion protection measures appropriate to the environment and avoid direct exposure to aggressive chemicals or prolonged seawater spray.
