DeLOCK cavo ottico attivo DisplayPort 1.4 8K 100 m

This DeLOCK Active Optical Cable DisplayPort 1.4 8K 100 m is designed to connect devices with DisplayPort interfaces — for example monitors, TVs or graphics sources — to a PC or laptop. As an active optical cable with a slim 5.4 mm diameter, it transmits high-resolution video signals over long distances without signal loss and supports DisplayPort 1.4 features up to 8K resolution. The cable is halogen-free and comes in black.

Advantages

The active optical design enables reliable transmission of high-bandwidth DisplayPort 1.4 signals over 100 m with minimal attenuation. Its thin 5.4 mm diameter improves routing and installation in confined spaces. DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort connectors ensure compatibility with standard DisplayPort devices and the cable supports 8K resolution for demanding video applications.

Suitable for

• Connecting a PC or laptop to distant monitors or TVs
• Large meeting rooms, lecture halls and digital signage
• High-resolution video and multimedia installations up to 8K

Key specifications

• Length: 100 m
• Connector 1: DisplayPort
• Connector 2: DisplayPort
• Standard: DisplayPort 1.4
• Maximum supported resolution: up to 8K
• Diameter: 5.4 mm
• Colour: Black
• Halogen-free

How to use

Connect one DisplayPort connector to the source device (PC, laptop or graphics output) and the other to the target display (monitor or TV). Ensure both devices support the required DisplayPort modes and set the output resolution and refresh rate in the source device if needed. Route the slim cable along the desired path and avoid sharp bends to preserve the optical fibres.

Recommendations

For best performance, verify that source and display firmware and drivers are up to date and use compatible DisplayPort 1.4 devices. Avoid tight bending radii and protect the cable from strong mechanical stress during installation and operation.
