Position the speaker at ear level or slightly above for optimal voice intelligibility and avoid placing it directly against large reflective surfaces to reduce unwanted coloration. For prolonged outdoor use, keep the unit protected from rain and excessive dust; use AC power when extended runtime is required. Use the integrated controls to set gain and volume conservatively to prevent distortion and preserve battery life.
