DIGITUS Cavo USB 2.0 Type-A-B M/m 3m conforme USB 2.0

The DIGITUS USB 2.0 connection cable AK-300105-030-S is a 3 m black cable with USB A (male) to USB B (male) connectors designed to reliably connect external USB devices such as printers, scanners or external HDD enclosures to a USB host like a PC, notebook or USB hub. It supports High-Speed USB data transfer up to 480 Mbps and features nickel-plated contacts for improved durability.

Advantages

The USB 2.0 connection cable provides a stable data link over a longer distance of 3 m while maintaining High-Speed transfer rates up to 480 Mbps. Nickel-plated contacts increase resistance to corrosion and ensure a consistent electrical connection. The standard USB A to USB B connector combination is compatible with common peripherals such as printers, scanners and external enclosures.

Suitable for

• Connecting printers to PCs or notebooks
• Connecting scanners to computers
• Linking external HDD enclosures or docking stations to a USB host
• Extending the distance between a USB hub and a peripheral device

How to use

Plug the USB A connector into the USB host device (PC, notebook or USB hub) and the USB B connector into the peripheral device (printer, scanner or external enclosure). Ensure both devices are powered on and recognised by the operating system. For optimal performance, use direct connections without multiple passive extension cables and avoid tightly coiling the cable while in use.

Recommendations

For stable High-Speed transfers, avoid connecting through multiple unpowered hubs or long cascaded extensions. If maximum throughput is required, verify device drivers and host USB ports support USB 2.0 (High-Speed).
