Disco abrasivo Bosch EXPERT R782 PRISMA

The Bosch EXPERT R782 PRISMA grinding disc is engineered for high-speed grinding of stainless steel and thin steel sheets. Featuring a flat-centre design and Prisma ceramic fibre abrasive, this disc provides fast material removal while maintaining consistent finish quality. Supplied in packs of five, it is suitable for professionals and skilled tradespeople who need improved productivity when working on fabricated stainless steel components.

Advantages

The Prisma ceramic fibre construction delivers accelerated grinding speed compared with conventional discs while preserving surface quality. The flat centre shape helps achieve uniform contact on workpieces, and the disc is designed for use with X-LOCK compatible angle grinders for quick mounting. The pack format (5 discs) offers practical replacement intervals and better value for continuous workshop use.

Suitable for

• Grinding down welds on fabricated stainless steel (Inox)
• Edge and surface preparation of thin steel sheets
• Metal fabrication and stainless steel repair work

How to use

Mount the disc onto an X-LOCK compatible angle grinder according to the grinder manufacturer’s instructions, ensuring the tool is switched off and disconnected from power. Hold the grinder with both hands, position the rotating disc at a shallow angle to the weld or surface, and apply steady, even pressure while moving along the workpiece. Avoid excessive force; let the abrasive remove material to prevent overheating or premature wear. Replace the disc when abrasive performance declines.

Recommendations

The disc is intended for professional use on stainless steel and thin steel; use appropriate personal protective equipment (eye, ear, respiratory and hand protection), secure the workpiece, and follow all safety instructions from both the grinder and disc manufacturers. Not for use on non-metallic materials.
