How to use

Install the AXIS 01859-001 into a compatible 3.5-inch drive bay and connect to the host system via the SATA data and power connectors. Configure the drive within the host operating system, appliance firmware, or RAID controller as required by your setup. For surveillance appliances, follow the appliance manufacturer's installation procedure to ensure correct mounting, cooling and firmware recognition.

Recommendations

For continuous video surveillance deployments, pair the drive with equipment designed for 24/7 operation and ensure adequate cooling and vibration control. When used in appliances that support RAID, consider RAID levels that provide redundancy if data protection is required. Regularly monitor drive health using the host system tools or appliance diagnostics and maintain backups of critical recordings.
