Disco fisso interno Toshiba MG11ACA24TE-V 24 TB 7200 giri/min 1024 MB 3,5 inch SATA III

The Toshiba S300 AI Surveillance Hard Drive (24 TB) is a 3.5" internal SATA III drive designed for continuous, high-capacity storage in professional surveillance, server and archival environments. With a 7200 RPM spindle speed and a 1024 MB buffer, it supports nonstop video capture, real-time AI analytics and long-term retention for large-scale deployments.

Advantages

This drive is optimized for AI-enhanced surveillance: it sustains high throughput for uninterrupted 24/7 recording, delivers stable performance for real-time analytics on multiple streams, and is engineered to avoid dropped frames during intensive workloads. Helium-sealed design in high-capacity models reduces power consumption while enabling greater storage density. Enterprise-grade endurance and a five-year warranty make it suitable for mission-critical installations.

Suitable for

• Large-scale surveillance systems (NVR/DVR) with many cameras
• AI video analytics servers requiring multiple concurrent streams
• Centralized surveillance data storage and long-term video archiving
• Multi-bay RAID arrays in servers, NAS or storage appliances

When it may not be suitable

This drive is focused on high-capacity, 24/7 surveillance and AI workloads; it may be excessive for typical desktop use or light home storage where lower-capacity, lower-cost drives are more appropriate. For workloads that require extremely low-latency random I/O (for example high-frequency database transactions), an SSD may provide better performance.

How to use

Install the Toshiba S300 AI in a compatible 3.5" drive bay or storage chassis and connect via a SATA III interface to your DVR, NVR, server or NAS. Configure the drive within your systemʼs storage management or RAID controller according to vendor guidelines, and ensure proper cooling and power delivery for continuous operation. For AI analytics, allocate streams and storage pools as recommended by your video management or analytics software to balance throughput and retention requirements.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm your chassis, RAID controller or NAS supports 3.5" SATA drives and 24 TB capacity
• Evaluate whether a high-capacity HDD fits your performance needs versus SSDs for low-latency I/O
• Ensure adequate cooling and power for sustained 24/7 operation
• Check compatibility with your video management and AI analytics software for supported stream counts

Recommendations

Use the S300 AI in systems designed for continuous surveillance and AI analytics, combine drives in properly configured RAID or storage pools for redundancy and performance, and follow Toshiba’s recommended operating conditions to maximise drive longevity and reliable real-time analysis.
