Disco rigido esterno LaCie 18 TB USB Type-A USB Type-C 1big Dock

The LaCie 1big Dock is an external hard drive and Thunderbolt 3 docking station designed for creative professionals who need centralized, high-capacity storage and a single-cable connection to a laptop. This 18 TB, 7,200 RPM drive combines a Seagate IronWolf Pro HDD with a range of ports and built-in SD and CF card readers, enabling direct ingestion, device charging, monitor connection, and daisy-chaining of additional drives while providing power delivery to your laptop and peripherals.

Advantages

1big Dock provides a consolidated workspace by combining an enterprise-class IronWolf Pro 7,200 RPM hard drive with Thunderbolt 3 performance and multiple ports including SD and CF card readers. It supports up to 70 W power pass-through to keep laptops charged, delivers up to 45 W when the charger is not used (reduced to 30 W when daisy-chaining other USB-C devices), and includes Rescue Data Recovery Services for the warranty period. The design supports large workloads (up to 300 TB/year) and comes with a five-year warranty for long-term reliability.

Use the USB-A and USB-C ports to connect peripherals, or daisy-chain additional Thunderbolt devices as needed.

Recommendations

For consistent performance with high-bitrate video and large projects, use the 7,200 RPM IronWolf Pro drive for storage and consider the 1big Dock SSD Pro (NVMe SSD and CFast/CFexpress readers) when maximum transfer speed is required. Maintain regular backups with LaCie Toolkit and enable Rescue Data Recovery Services included with the drive.
