Disk Array Silverstone FS204 nero

The SilverStone FS204 Black fits four 2.5" SAS/SATA 6 Gbit/s drives into a single 5.25" device bay. It accommodates drives up to 15 mm thick, offers individual drive locks and LEDs, and includes a built-in cooling fan for improved heat dissipation. The all-aluminum body with a hairline brushed finish and compact dimensions (approximately 146 mm × 180 mm × 41.7 mm) make it suitable for home and office PCs that need flexible, front-bay storage for HDDs or SSDs.

Advantages

The FS204 provides hot-swap support for SATA drives, individual metal key locks for each drive tray, independent status LEDs for easy monitoring, and an integrated cooling fan to maintain drive temperatures. Its all-aluminum construction with a brushed finish adds durability and a neat appearance while supporting a mix of 2.5" HDDs and SSDs up to 15 mm thick.

Suitable for

• Home desktop systems needing additional front-bay storage
• Office PCs requiring compact multi-drive capacity
• Systems using 2.5" HDDs or SSDs up to 15 mm thickness
• Setups that benefit from SATA hot-swap capability

How to use

Install the FS204 into an available 5.25" front bay, secure the device, and connect each drive to the host system using appropriate SATA cables and power connectors. Insert 2.5" drives into the trays, lock each tray with the provided metal key if required, and power on the PC. Drive status is visible via the independent LEDs; the built-in fan helps maintain operating temperature. For systems that support it, use the SATA hot-swap function to add or remove drives without shutting down the host, following your operating system's safe removal procedures.

Recommendations

Use drives with a thickness of 15 mm or less and ensure proper cable connections. Periodically check the fan and vents for dust to maintain effective cooling and extend drive lifespan.
