Districacavi ShiverPeaks 71216-W-SET2 — accessorio antigroviglio per cavi del ricevitore telefonico

ShiverPeaks 71216-W-SET2 is a cable unwinder designed to reduce twist and tangling in telephone handset cords. The compact, narrow white-transparent body guides the handset lead and allows the cord to rotate and unwind as the handset moves, reducing abrasion and mechanical stress on the cable. The accessory is supplied as a two-piece set for connection to standard handset cords in office or home telephony environments.

Advantages

The ShiverPeaks cable unwinder minimizes cable twisting and helps prolong the usable life of handset leads by providing controlled rotation and gentle release. Its narrow profile and translucent white finish make it unobtrusive on desks and telephony stations. The two-piece set format allows installation on both ends of the handset lead or replacement of existing twist-stop elements without modifying the handset or base unit.

Suitable for

• Office desk phones with standard handset cords
• Home telephone handsets to reduce tangling and wear
• Call centres and reception areas with frequent handset handling
• Replacement or retrofit of existing handset twist-stop elements

Key specifications

• Form factor: narrow, compact unwinder body
• Color/finish: white-transparent
• Set size: two-piece set for multiple installations
• Compatibility: designed for standard telephone handset leads
• Primary function: reduces twisting and tangling; enables controlled rotation

How to use

Install one or both pieces of the unwinder on the handset cord by opening the accessory around the cable according to the product’s closure mechanism and securing it in place near the handset or near the base as required. Ensure the cable passes through the guiding channel so the cord can rotate freely inside the housing when the handset moves. No special tools are required for installation; check that the unwinder does not obstruct handset placement or interfere with phone cradle switches.

Recommendations

For best results, position the unwinder where the most rotation occurs during normal handset use — typically close to the handset or midway along the cord — and periodically inspect the cable and unwinder for wear. Replace the unwinder if cracks or binding are observed to maintain smooth rotation and prevent cable damage.
