Advantages

The HSM Pure 530 combines a wide 300 mm feed width with a strip-cut system that reduces documents to uniform strips, enabling fast throughput with conservative maintenance needs. Integrated capabilities for shredding optical media and plastic cards simplify the disposal workflow by allowing a single device to process paper, CDs and credit cards. Its design focuses on ease of use, steady performance in medium-volume environments and reduced requirement for user intervention during routine operation.

Suitable for

• Office departments with medium daily shredding volumes
• Shared workspaces where periodic destruction of documents and media is required
• Administrations handling printed reports, letters and outgoing mail
• Environments needing occasional destruction of CDs, DVDs and plastic cards

Key specifications

How to use

Place the HSM Pure 530 on a stable surface and connect it to a suitable power source following the manufacturer’s safety guidance. Feed paper or media into the feed slot aligned to the working width; the strip-cut mechanism will process items continuously. For CDs and credit cards, insert them in the dedicated feed area as described in the user manual. Empty the collection bin regularly to avoid overfilling, and follow the supplied maintenance instructions for occasional cleaning and lubrication of the cutting elements.

Recommendations

For consistent performance, avoid overfeeding beyond the recommended capacity and remove staples or paper clips if indicated by the manufacturer’s guidance. Use the unit in indoor office conditions, keep the feed area clear of obstructions, and schedule routine emptying of the waste container. When shredding CDs or credit cards, feed them individually to prevent jams and ensure safe disposal of media containing sensitive data.
