Docking station ColorWay CW-HUB04 4-in-1 USB-C — HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet, USB-A, pass-through PD

ColorWay CW-HUB04 is a compact 4-in-1 USB-C docking station that adds essential connectivity to laptops and tablets. It provides an HDMI video output for connecting an external monitor or projector, a Gigabit Ethernet port for stable wired network access, a USB-A port for legacy peripherals and a USB-C Power Delivery passthrough to charge the host device while other ports are in use. The hub is designed for simple plug-and-play use with minimal setup and is suitable for home office, remote work and presentation environments.

Advantages

The docking station combines video, network and peripheral connectivity in a single compact unit, reducing cable clutter and simplifying workstation setup. HDMI output supports connecting to external displays for extended or mirrored screens, while Gigabit Ethernet delivers reliable, low-latency network access compared with wireless connections. A dedicated USB-A port preserves compatibility with mice, keyboards and storage devices, and the USB-C PD passthrough allows charging laptops and tablets without occupying additional power outlets.

Suitable for

• Extending or mirroring laptop display to an external monitor or projector
• Establishing a stable wired network connection for video conferencing and large file transfers
• Connecting USB-A peripherals such as keyboards, mice and external storage
• Charging host laptops or tablets via USB-C Power Delivery while using the hub
• Simple workstation setups in home offices, meeting rooms and classrooms

Key specifications

• Interface: USB-C host connection
• Video output: HDMI (single external display support)
• Network: Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000 Mbps)
• USB ports: one USB-A for peripherals
• Power Delivery: USB-C PD passthrough for charging host device
• Form factor: compact desktop hub designed for portability

How to use

Connect the docking station to your laptop or tablet using the integrated or supplied USB-C cable. Attach an HDMI cable from the hub to an external monitor or projector and configure display settings on the host device to extend or mirror the screen. Plug a network cable into the Gigabit Ethernet port for wired internet access and connect USB-A peripherals as needed. If charging is required, connect the laptop’s USB-C power adapter to the hub’s PD input so the host receives power while other ports remain active. Most operating systems will recognize the hub automatically; check display and network settings if manual configuration is necessary.

Recommendations

Use a USB-C power adapter that meets your laptop’s required wattage to ensure effective charging through the PD passthrough. For stable video and network performance, use high-quality HDMI and Ethernet cables and place the hub in a well-ventilated area to avoid overheating during extended use.
