DSIT Cavo di rete CAT 6a LSOH - S/FTP - 50 metri - grigio (DC-6A1-500)

Running high-speed 10 Gigabit Ethernet over longer distances demands a cable that rejects interference and stays safe in confined spaces. This 50-metre DSIT Cat 6a installation cable meets that challenge with S/FTP shielding and a Low Smoke Zero Halogen jacket, delivering clean signals up to 500 MHz while minimising toxic emissions in the event of fire.

Who is it for

Network installers, data centre technicians, and IT managers who need a reliable bulk cable for permanent indoor runs. It suits office LANs, server rooms, and structured cabling projects where PoE devices—such as access points, IP cameras, and VoIP phones—must be powered over the same link.

Main features

• Cat 6a performance with 500 MHz bandwidth for 10GBASE-T up to 100 metres.
• S/FTP shielding: each pair is individually foil-wrapped (PiMF) and the overall cable is braid-screened, virtually eliminating alien crosstalk and EMI.
• LSOH jacket: low smoke and zero halogen, compliant with IEC 60332-1, IEC 61034, and IEC 60754 for safer indoor use.
• Solid bare copper conductors, AWG 23, ensure excellent conductivity and support for PoE, PoE+, and PoE++ (IEEE 802.3af/at/bt).
• Bulk cable without connectors, ideal for custom terminations with RJ45 plugs, keystone jacks, or patch panels.
• Meets ISO/IEC 11801, EN 50173, and TIA/EIA-568-C.2 standards for structured cabling.

Tips

When terminating this cable, use Cat 6a rated connectors and maintain pair twists as close to the termination point as possible to preserve performance. For PoE++ applications, ensure proper ventilation in cable bundles to manage heat buildup.
