DVD+R DL MediaRange MR471 8.5 GB 100 pezzi

The MediaRange MR471 is a pack of 100 DVD+R DL discs, each with a native capacity of 8.5 GB and support for 8x write speed. These dual-layer recordable DVDs are designed for storing large files, full-length videos, and disc images that require more capacity than single-layer DVDs. The discs come packaged in a cakebox for compact storage and handling, and their dual-layer structure provides an extended recording surface while remaining compatible with most DVD+R DL capable burners and players.

Advantages

DVD+R DL MediaRange MR471 discs provide expanded storage compared with single-layer DVDs, allowing storage of larger data sets and longer video recordings on a single disc. The 8x write speed balances reasonable burn time with broad compatibility across many optical drives. A pack of 100 in a cakebox reduces packaging waste per disc and supports organized media storage. The media type (DVD+R DL) is suited to long-term archival and distribution where a single-disc solution is preferred.

Suitable for

• Archiving large data collections and system backups
• Storing full-length movies and high-definition video projects
• Distributing software, installers, and large disc images
• Creating long-form audio compilations and multimedia presentations

Key specifications

• Disc type: DVD+R DL (dual-layer recordable)
• Capacity: 8.5 GB native per disc
• Speed: up to 8x write speed
• Quantity: 100 discs per cakebox
• Packaging: cakebox for compact storage

How to use

Ensure your optical drive supports DVD+R DL media and 8x write speeds before burning. Load a blank MediaRange MR471 disc into the drive, select an appropriate burning application, choose the correct disc format (DVD-Video, data disc, or ISO image), and set the burn speed—using 8x or lower can improve compatibility. After burning, verify the disc content using the software’s verification feature or by playing the disc in a compatible player to confirm successful write and readability.

Recommendations

Store discs upright in their cakebox in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Allow freshly burned discs to finalize and cool before handling. For long-term archival, consider keeping important copies in separate physical locations and verify burns periodically to detect potential degradation.
