DVR Hilook by Hikvision SSD-DVR-2MP 4 canali 2MP (5-in-1)

Hilook by Hikvision SSD-DVR-2MP 4-channel 2MP (5-in-1) is a compact digital video recorder designed for basic to intermediate surveillance installations. The unit supports up to four video channels with 2MP resolution cameras and accepts multiple analog and digital signal formats in a 5-in-1 architecture. Recording is written to an internal SSD for faster access and increased reliability compared with traditional hard drives, making the device suitable for small offices, retail points and residential monitoring. The recorder also supports remote monitoring and playback via network connection, allowing convenient access to footage from computers and mobile devices.

Advantages

The DVR offers multi-format input compatibility, enabling connection of different camera types without additional converters. Native support for 2MP resolution provides adequate image detail for typical security tasks while keeping storage requirements moderate. SSD storage reduces mechanical failure risk and improves read/write performance for continuous recording and fast playback. Compact 4-channel capacity and straightforward configuration make installation and maintenance efficient for non-specialist users.

Suitable for

• Small offices requiring continuous local recording and occasional remote access
• Retail shops and storefronts monitoring entrances and sales areas
• Private homes and apartment buildings for perimeter and indoor surveillance
• Small warehouses or storage rooms with a limited number of cameras

Configure date, time and recording schedule from the on-screen menu, set motion detection parameters if required, and enable network settings to allow remote access. Use the local HDMI/VGA output for on-site monitoring and the web or mobile client for remote viewing and playback.

Recommendations

If continuous 24/7 recording is needed, select an SSD with appropriate endurance rating and capacity; configure motion detection or scheduled recording to extend available storage. Regularly check firmware updates and back up critical footage to a separate network location for long-term retention.
