E-book reader Onyx Boox Go 10,3 inch (Gen II) Lumi Carta 1200 64 GB Wi-Fi grigio

The Onyx Boox Go 10.3" (Gen II) is a 10.3-inch e-book reader equipped with a Lumi Carta 1200 E Ink display, 64GB of internal storage and Wi‑Fi connectivity. The large screen offers improved contrast and a paper-like reading experience that works well for long reading sessions and detailed document review. The device is intended for reading e-books, reviewing PDFs and handling long-format content with stable display quality and offline storage capacity.

Advantages

The Lumi Carta 1200 screen provides higher contrast and reduced ghosting compared to earlier E Ink panels, making text and diagrams clearer on the 10.3" display. Built-in 64GB storage allows keeping a substantial library and large documents locally without relying on cloud access. Wi‑Fi connectivity enables easy download of books and sync of reading progress, while the greyscale display and low-power E Ink technology extend battery life for sustained use between charges.

Suitable for

• Readers of large-format e-books and technical documents
• Students and researchers who review PDFs and lecture notes
• Professionals who need to read and annotate lengthy documents
• Users who prefer a paper-like display for extended reading sessions

When it may not be suitable

This e-reader uses an E Ink display optimized for static content; it is not intended for color-rich media or fast-refresh video playback. Users who need frequent access to color images, animations or high-frame-rate video should consider a tablet with an LCD or OLED screen instead. The device is focused on reading and document review rather than heavy application multitasking.

Key specifications

• Display type: Lumi Carta 1200 E Ink (grayscale)
• Internal storage: 64 GB
• Connectivity: Wi‑Fi

How to use

Turn on the device and connect to a Wi‑Fi network to download books or synchronize your library. Transfer files via Wi‑Fi or use the local storage to copy large documents directly from a computer. Open e-books and PDFs to read, adjust font size, contrast and page layout as needed for comfortable viewing. Use built-in navigation and annotation tools where available to mark up documents; the E Ink screen is suited to long reading sessions and intermittent interactions to preserve battery life.

What to consider before purchase

• Whether a large 10.3" grayscale E Ink screen meets your needs for document layout and readability
• Need for 64GB local storage for large files and offline access
• Requirement for Wi‑Fi to download content and sync reading progress
• Suitability for grayscale content rather than color media

Recommendations

For best results, keep the firmware up to date, adjust contrast and font settings for prolonged reading comfort, and store frequently used documents on the internal 64GB storage to reduce load times. Use Wi‑Fi for initial syncs and large downloads, then rely on offline reading to preserve battery life.
