EFB VSB2HE-A-SW Cassetta di giunzione scorrevole 2U per rack, vuota, nera, senza pannello frontale

The EFB VSB2HE-A-SW stands out among rack splice boxes by combining a sliding, extractable 2U chassis with a deliberately unpopulated interior, giving integrators full freedom to configure fibre management exactly to project needs. Unlike fixed splice enclosures, this unit slides out on rails for effortless access during installation and maintenance, while the absence of a front panel means you can choose the exact adapter layout and connector types required—SC, LC, ST, FC, or E2000—by ordering a compatible front panel separately.

Highlights

• 2U 19-inch rack-mount sliding splice box with extractable design for easy access
• Unpopulated configuration: no adapters or pigtails pre-installed, maximising flexibility
• Front panel not included—select from a range of EFB front panels to suit your fibre connector needs
• Robust steel construction with powder-coated black finish (RAL 9005) for durability
• Integrated cable management and strain relief for organised fibre routing
• Two rear cable entries for M20/M25 cable glands, supporting clean cable ingress
• Accommodates up to four EFB splice trays (e.g., 700000.1) for high-density splicing

In daily use

In a busy data centre or enterprise network, the VSB2HE-A-SW simplifies fibre optic cable management and splicing. The sliding mechanism allows the entire unit to be pulled forward from the rack, providing clear access to splice trays and cable routing without disturbing adjacent equipment. The rear cable entries with strain relief keep incoming fibres secure and organised, while the spacious interior accommodates up to four splice trays, supporting a substantial number of splices. Because the box is unpopulated, you can tailor the front panel to match your current connector mix and easily upgrade later by swapping panels, making it a future-proof investment.
