Cavo elettrico flessibile OMY 3x0,75 mm² 300 V 100 m

Stranded electrical cable OMY 3x0.75 mm² 300 V 100 m is a flexible three-conductor cable designed for low-voltage power and control applications. Each conductor has a cross-sectional area of 0.75 mm², providing a balance between flexibility and current-carrying capacity for light-duty wiring tasks. The cable is rated for up to 300 V and is supplied wound on a 100 m spool for convenient storage and deployment in electrical installations.

Advantages

This OMY cable features stranded conductors that improve flexibility compared with solid-core wire, making it easier to route through conduits, terminal blocks, and machine housings. The three-core construction simplifies connections for circuits requiring a live, neutral and protective or control conductor. The compact cross-section and insulation materials are suitable for fixed indoor installations in dry environments and for light machinery connections where a flexible multi-core solution is required.

Suitable for

• Low-voltage power distribution in residential and commercial interiors
• Control circuits and signal wiring for light machinery
• Internal wiring of junction boxes, appliances and equipment
• Fixed installation in dry indoor environments

Key specifications

• Number of cores: 3
• Conductor type: stranded copper
• Conductor cross-section: 0.75 mm² per core
• Voltage rating: 300 V
• Length: 100 m spool
• Application environment: dry indoor installations and light machinery connections

How to use

Before installation, verify that the cable's voltage rating, conductor size and number of cores meet the requirements of the circuit and applicable local electrical regulations. Cut the required length from the spool and strip the insulation from each conductor to the appropriate length for the terminal or connector being used. Use proper ferrules or end sleeves where required for stranded conductors to ensure secure connections. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tensile stress during routing; maintain recommended bending radii for multi-core cables. Secure the cable at regular intervals using suitable clamps or ties and ensure all connections are made with the power de-energized.

Recommendations

Use this cable only for fixed, dry indoor installations and light machinery connections. Do not expose the cable to direct sunlight, moisture, mechanical damage, or temperatures outside the range specified by local standards. For installations requiring mechanical protection, outdoor use, or higher current capacity, select a cable with appropriate insulation, shielding or larger conductor cross-section. If uncertain, consult a qualified electrician to ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety practices.
