The TP-Link AC1200 Wi-Fi Range Extender RE365 expands and strengthens an existing wireless network to reduce dead zones in homes. It connects wirelessly to any standard router or access point and delivers dual-band speeds of up to 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps on 5 GHz, covering up to 10,000 square feet. The RE365 includes an integrated AC passthrough power socket so you can keep using the room’s outlet while extending Wi‑Fi, and its internal antenna design suits family homes.

Advantages

The RE365 provides AC1200-class dual-band performance for compatible devices and supports common Wi‑Fi standards such as 802.11ac and 802.11n for broad compatibility. An intelligent signal indicator helps locate the optimal installation spot, and a web interface plus the Tether mobile app (Android/iOS) enable quick setup and remote control of basic functions like power, LED and network name/password. The integrated power socket preserves the wall outlet for other devices, and the rounded antenna housing improves safety in family environments.

Suitable for

Eliminating Wi‑Fi dead zones in apartments and houses
Extending wireless coverage for streaming, browsing and home office use
Providing stable dual-band connections for multiple devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops)
Homes where preserving a power outlet is important (AC passthrough)

Key specifications

Model: RE365
Wi‑Fi standard: IEEE 802.11ac / 802.11n / 802.11g / 802.11b
Wireless speeds: up to 300 Mbps (2.4 GHz) + 867 Mbps (5 GHz)
Maximum coverage (manufacturer stated): up to 10,000 sq. ft.*
Ports: 1 × Ethernet LAN (RJ‑45)
Integrated AC passthrough socket: yes
Product colour: White
MPN / EAN: RE365 / 6935364083991

How to use

Plug the RE365 into a wall outlet roughly halfway between your router and the area with weak signal. Use the signal indicator to fine‑tune placement for optimal reception. Connect the extender to your existing Wi‑Fi network by following the web interface steps or by using the Tether app on an Android or iOS device. If needed, connect a wired device to the Ethernet LAN port. Configure network name and password through the app or web UI.

Recommendations

The best results are achieved when the extender is placed where it still receives a strong signal from the router (not at the edge of coverage). Avoid placing the unit near large metal objects, microwaves or devices that emit strong electromagnetic interference. Use the Tether app to manage LED, power and network settings for convenient control.
