Extender KVM HDMI DIGITUS, 120 m tramite cavo di rete (Cat 5, 5E, 6), Full HD, 1080p

The KVM IP Extender Set Digitus DS-55202 extends HDMI video and USB keyboard/mouse signals from a local transmitter to a remote receiver. It supports extension over a single network cable up to 120 m or over an existing IP network for virtually unlimited distance. The set supports full HD video at up to 1080p/60 Hz and includes LED indicators for device and USB activity. The units are designed for fixed installations in industrial, commercial and public environments.

Advantages

The extender provides HDMI extension over CAT5/5e/6 cables up to 120 m and can also operate over an IP network for longer distances. It supports KVM functionality so the remote receiver accepts USB keyboard and mouse control. The device complies with 10/100 Mbps Ethernet (IEEE 802.3) and delivers stable 1080p/60 Hz video. LED activity indicators simplify monitoring of power and USB connections. The compact, black units have low power consumption and are suitable for professional installations.

Suitable for

• Extending HDMI and USB signals in meeting rooms and classrooms
• Remote control of PCs in industrial and commercial installations
• Digital signage and public display systems
• Networked AV setups that require centralised source control

How to use

Connect the transmitter unit to the HDMI source and the local USB devices as required, then connect the receiver to the remote display and the USB keyboard/mouse. Use a CAT5/5e/6 cable between transmitter and receiver for point-to-point extension up to 120 m. For longer distances, connect both units through your existing network infrastructure over IP, ensuring appropriate network routing and bandwidth. Power both units and verify operation via the LED indicators; adjust display settings on the source if necessary to ensure 1080p/60 Hz output.

Recommendations

For best performance use CAT5e or CAT6 cable for point-to-point runs and ensure the network used for IP extension has sufficient throughput and low latency. Avoid running network cables near high-voltage lines or strong electromagnetic sources to reduce signal interference.
