Filtro antiparticolato 3M 2138 P3 con carbone attivo, confezione da 2

The 3M 2138 P3 particulate filters with activated carbon are replacement filters designed for use with compatible 3M respirator systems. Each pack contains two P3-rated filters that combine high-efficiency particulate filtration with an activated carbon layer to reduce certain nuisance gases and odors. These filters are intended to extend respirator service life and improve protection when fine dust, fumes or unpleasant smells are present in industrial, construction and maintenance environments.

Advantages

The P3 filter media offers high-efficiency capture of solid and liquid aerosols, while the integrated activated carbon layer adsorbs a range of nuisance vapours and smells. The compact, lightweight design allows easy fitting to compatible 3M half and full face respirators without significantly increasing breathing resistance. Filters in this format are replaceable, helping to maintain consistent performance and reduce downtime associated with disposable respirators.

Suitable for

• Work with fine dusts, powders and aerosols
• Light grinding, sanding and surface preparation
• Maintenance and cleaning tasks with objectionable odours
• Environments where additional protection against nuisance gases is desired

Key specifications

• Protection class: P3 particulate filtration
• Filter type: combination particulate media with activated carbon layer
• Compatibility: designed for use with compatible 3M reusable respirator systems

How to use

Before use, verify compatibility between these filters and your 3M respirator model. Install the filters according to the respirator manufacturer’s instructions, ensuring a secure attachment and correct orientation. Perform a user seal check or fit check after assembly to confirm the respirator provides an adequate seal. Replace filters when breathing resistance increases noticeably, when damage or contamination is visible, or following the respirator program rules applicable in your workplace.

Recommendations

Store filters in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and strong chemical vapours. Do not attempt to clean or wash the filters. Use the filters only for the types of contaminants and durations indicated by your respiratory protection program and applicable safety regulations.
