Flessometro Bahco MTG-5-19 5m nero arancione giallo

The Bahco MTG-5-19 5m tape measure combines a compact 5-meter blade with a lightweight, durable housing finished in black, orange and yellow. Designed for general measuring tasks, this tape measure weighs approximately 300 g and provides clear, easy-to-read markings for precise linear measurements in both professional and DIY environments. The compact form factor and color-contrasted casing improve visibility on the job site and simplify transport and storage.

Advantages

The tape offers a 5 m measuring length in a compact unit, balancing reach and portability. The housing's black, orange and yellow color scheme enhances visibility, while the low weight of around 300 g reduces fatigue when carrying or using the tool over extended periods. Clear markings on the blade support accurate measurements for a range of applications.

Suitable for

• Interior and exterior linear measurements up to 5 meters
• Carpentry and woodworking layout and checking
• Home improvement and DIY projects
• On-site construction measurements where a lightweight tape is preferred

Key specifications

• Measuring length: 5 m
• Approximate weight: 300 g
• Housing colors: black, orange, yellow
• Markings: clear, easy-to-read linear graduations

How to use

Pull the blade from the housing to the required length and align the blade markings with the measured points. Use the end hook, if present, to anchor the tape to an edge for single-person measuring, or have an assistant hold the end for longer spans. Retract the blade smoothly into the housing after use to protect the markings and mechanism.

Recommendations

Store the tape measure in a dry place to prevent damage to the blade and markings. Avoid abrupt retraction to prolong the life of the mechanism and keep the blade free from heavy dirt or chemicals. Inspect the markings periodically to ensure continued readability for accurate measurements.
