How to use

Pull the tape out from the casing to the required length, align the hook with the start or edge of the object being measured, and read the value from the graduated blade. Use the locking mechanism if present to hold the blade steady for marking or transfer. Retract the blade slowly into the casing to avoid damage and to extend product life. For measurements across long distances, keep the tape blade taut and stable to maintain accuracy.

Recommendations

Store the tape measure in a dry place and avoid hard impacts to the casing. Clean the blade after use if it becomes dirty and retract it fully before transport. Inspect the hook and blade graduations periodically to ensure accurate measurements.
