The GIGABYTE AORUS WATERFORCE 280 is an all-in-one liquid cooler engineered for gaming and high-performance systems. It integrates a 280mm radiator with two 140mm AORUS silent fans, an ARGB lighting display that can show CPU temperature, a rotatable pump head and enlarged water tubes for improved flow and faster heat dissipation. The cooler is finished in black and supports a wide range of CPU sockets including LGA 1700, LGA 2066, Socket AM4 and others.

Advantages

The AORUS ARGB lighting display provides real-time CPU temperature indication through addressable RGB effects. A 330° manual rotatable pump head lets you set the preferred orientation for neat cable routing and aesthetics. Enlarged water tubes (from 5.1 mmØ to 7.8 mmØ) increase water flow by approximately 37% for more efficient heat transfer. The ceramic pump axis offers extended lifetime and corrosion resistance, while graphene nano lubricant in the sleeve-bearing fans reduces noise and extends fan life. The 140mm fan blade geometry and unique edge/curve design optimize airflow and heat dissipation while keeping noise low. ARGB male and female headers on each fan simplify synchronization of multiple AORUS fans, and cable routing beside the radiator makes installation neater.

How to use

Mount the 280 mm radiator in a compatible case location (top or front, depending on case layout) and secure the two 140 mm fans in the recommended airflow orientation. Install the pump/block assembly onto the CPU following the supplied mounting brackets for your specific socket. Connect the ARGB and fan power headers to the motherboard or controller; use the ARGB male/female pass-through on AORUS fans to link additional AORUS fans if desired. Configure lighting and temperature-display settings via RGB Fusion 2.0 or your motherboard’s ARGB software. Ensure all fittings are secure and cables are routed along the radiator side for a clean installation.
