Gira presa SCHUKO da parete con coperchio a ribalta e SafetyPlus, modello 441430, grigio

gira SCHUKO socket surface-mounted with hinged cover and SafetyPlus (model 441430) is a gray, externally mounted power outlet designed for locations where recessed installation is not possible. The unit combines a standard SCHUKO grounding contact with a hinged protective cover and SafetyPlus child protection mechanism to reduce risk of accidental contact. Its surface-mounted design allows quick attachment to walls or panels in residential and light commercial settings as well as sheltered outdoor areas.

Advantages

The surface-mounted construction simplifies installation because no flush-mounted box is required, reducing installation time and enabling retrofit applications. The hinged cover protects the socket from dust and incidental contact when not in use, while the integrated SafetyPlus feature provides additional protection against foreign object insertion. The gray finish offers a neutral appearance that blends with many interiors and service areas.

How to use

Position the surface-mounted socket on a flat wall or panel where mains supply wiring can be routed to the device. Secure the housing with appropriate screws and anchors for the wall material, then connect the supply conductors to the terminal block following local electrical regulations and ensuring the circuit is de-energized prior to work. After wiring, close the hinged cover to protect the outlet when not in use. Test the connection with a suitable tester or appliance to confirm correct grounding and voltage before regular use.

Recommendations

Install and commission the socket only by a qualified electrician in accordance with applicable installation standards and local codes. Use the socket in locations protected from direct weather exposure; where external moisture or water jets are possible, choose a product with appropriate IP rating. Regularly inspect the hinged cover and contacts for wear and cleanliness and disconnect power before performing any maintenance.
